It’s very hard writing a Chinese New Year card and knowing what phrases to use in Chinese. To make things a bit more simple, here are some phrases to use on your Chinese New Year cards. These Chinese New Year expressions give the example of Year of the Rooster as 2017 is the Chinese Year of the Golden Rooster.

1. 一份不渝的友谊，执着千万个祝福，给我想念的朋友，温馨地问候。
   yī fèn bù yú dí yǒu yì， zhí zhuó qiān wàn gè zhù fú， gěi wǒ xiǎng niàn dí péng yǒu， wēn xīn dì wèn hòu
   An everlasting friendship, send my sincere blessings and warm greetings to the friends who I miss the most.
2. 不管我们的距离有多遥远，关怀你的心是永远不变的。
   bù guǎn wǒ mén dí jù lí yǒu duō yáo yuǎn， guān huái nǐ dí xīn shì yǒng yuǎn bù biàn dí 。

   zài zhè chōng mǎn wēn xīn dí jì jié lǐ， gěi nǐ wǒ zhēn zhì dí zhù fú jí shēn shēn dí sī niàn

4. 我用所有的喜悦，为你祈祷，愿你在这一年里繁荣，平安、快乐。
   wǒ yòng suǒ yǒu dí xǐ yuè， wéi nǐ qí dǎo， yuàn nǐ zài zhè yī nián lǐ fán róng， píng ān、kuài lè 。

5. 并祝你年年有余（鱼）， 岁岁平安！
   bìng zhù nǐ nián nián yǒu yú （ yú ）， suì suì píng ān ！
   I wish you a good fortune (like fish – means good fortune and in Chinese sounds like become prosperous) and a peaceful life all year around!
6. 儿孙满堂亲朋欢，福禄寿喜绕身边
   ér sūn mǎn táng qīn péng huān， fú lù shòu xǐ rào shēn biān
   I wish your children, grandchildren, relatives and friends are around, good fortune (fu), successful career and promotion ( lu), healthy and long life (shou ) and happiness (xi )all year around
7. 愿你日子甜蜜依旧，好运总伴左右，如意围在身边，鸡年快乐！
   yuàn nǐ rì zǐ tián mì yī jiù， hǎo yùn zǒng bàn zuǒ yòu， rú yì wéi zài shēn biān， jī nián kuài lè！
   I wish you have sweet and happy days and good luck all year around as before, all wishes around you, happy Chinese New Year of the rooster!
8. 新春佳节祝福多，合家团圆幸福多;身体健康快乐多，心情愉快朋友多；事事顺利福气多，天天如意鸿运多；称心如意好运多，祝你春节如意事儿多!
   xīn chūn jiā jié zhù fú duō， hé jiā tuán yuán xìng fú duō ; shēn tǐ jiàn kāng kuài lè duō， xīn qíng yú kuài péng yǒu duō ； shì shì shùn lì fú qì duō， tiān tiān rú yì hóng yùn duō ； chēng xīn rú yì hǎo yùn duō， zhù nǐ chūn jié rú yì shì ér duō !

10. 我来捎个口信：又一个春节即将来到，行李包袱早早收拾好，春运高峰早点出发就好，吃的穿的家中都已准备好。你妈妈叫你回家过年。
    wǒ lái shāo gè kǒu xìn ： yòu yī gè chūn jié jí jiāng lái dào， xíng lǐ bāo fú zǎo zǎo shōu shí hǎo， chūn yùn gāo fēng zǎo diǎn chū fā jiù hǎo， chī dí chuān dí jiā zhōng dū yǐ zhǔn bèi hǎo 。 nǐ mā mā jiào nǐ huí jiā guò nián
